How is this event made possible FREE OF CHARGE?
- God has led us to trust Him in the provision for the costs of the event….this is part of the glory. Each year God has miraculously provided through many different means. A week after the event last year, I was in Office Depot and someone, whom I did not know the name of, handed me a one hundred dollar bill and said, “Put this toward Celebrate the Glory.” Whoever you were, thanks for helping multiply God’s glory.
This year we will take an offering in the afternoon to help cover the expenses and give honorariums to our guest speakers and musicians. Celebrate the Glory is a completely servant-driven event. It’s really just a bunch of friends ministering together for the glory of God.
- If God leads you to help us cover up front expenses, please send your gift to:

- Yes, you can….but, we prefer you register online so that all the info will go directly into our database. If you do not have internet access…have a friend register you or go to a public library to register. If you are still unable to register online…call Marc Jantomaso at 434-660-7729 to register.
What about the weather?
- Rain or shine…heat or cold, the event will proceed. Please dress accordingly. The event is in an outdoor pavilion; at the base of the mountains….and is usually 10 degrees cooler than inland or the lowlands. There are also indoor, climate-controlled rooms available. (The event site is an old elementary school).
What about infants, kids, and nursing mothers?
- There will be a designated room for nursing mothers and another room for napping babies. These rooms will be appropriate for changing babies. Parents are responsible, at all times, for their own children. There is no child-care available. Please know where your children are at all times…do not let them wander.
What about restrooms?
- There are a limited number of indoor restrooms…you may have to wait in line. There will also be portable restrooms on site.
Should we bring chairs to sit on?
- Possibly…we will have about 700 chairs available. If we need you to bring your own chair we will let you know in an email prior to the event. You may want to bring a blanket…to sit on for lunch…to keep warm if it is cold…or to pad the metal or plastic chair you will be sitting on.
Can we bring pets?
- Out of consideration of all those attending, and for safety/sanitation reasons, we ask that you please not bring pets.
How do you advertise this event?
- In the past two years God has provided unique means to get the word out. Generally, most people find out from a friend. Please consider becoming an official CTG Representative in your church and community (sign up on CTG Rep page)…or just be an unofficial representative and tell all your friends through phone calls, emails, church groups, home school groups, etc.
What about church on Sunday?
- For those who would like to join us on Sunday for church….we will worship together at the site (either outdoors or indoors, depending on the weather and number of people) at 10am on Sunday. We will have communion together. We will also have lunch together afterwards. (If there’s any food left over from Saturday )
How many people do you expect?
- Only God knows. The first year there were 350 people, last year 650, this year ?
We are planning for over a thousand people…but, if there are just a handful of us; then there will be handful of good friends worshiping God, praying, seeking God with all our hearts, singing, laughing and enjoying God’s goodness, mercy, and beauty.
